Musicians Institute: Recording Institute of Technology
In 2007 I attended and graduated from Musicians Institute's Recording Institute of Technology program, effectively becoming a certified audio engineer. This school allowed me to really explore my true calling in life, which is music. I have been in numerous bands over the years, ranging from technical metal, to blues, to folk, to progressive hip-hop, and am currently in one called 15 Strange Seconds, as well as a side metal project. This page is dedicated to the audio aspects of my musical "documentation," so-to-speak; that is, things I have written, recorded, mixed, mastered, etc. that otherwise are not in visual form.
The singer of 15SS is also a solo artist, in which I helped to record and mix a "demo" (about 7 songs) in his home studio: Enoch.

-- This was my final project at MI: RIT, in which we had to record, mix, and master an original song by ourselves. I wrote all the guitar and bass parts; Leemon (L.A.C.), a fellow classmate, did the vocals very last minute for me because I couldn't find an appropriate singer; and I got a co-worker, Blaine, at the time, to do drums...he was only 15!!! This was not my original song choice - a technical metal song was my first - which made for a very rushed process. Even though I'm pleased with how it turned out, I am slightly disappointed I did not have more time in those amazing studios, as I know it could still sound better.

-- This is a song I composed, played, recorded, and mixed (waiting for the rest of the band to be mastered) myself in my home studio. This is the same song as the one in the "instructional" acoustic videos.

-- This is an audio clip from Entourage in which I overdubbed my vocals (screams, that is)...for the fun of it! And to keep my metal-vocals "keen."
The Bunskies radio show...
The Bunskies is a radio show hosted by my younger brother and his roommate and fellow school-mate through Ex'pression College. It is on every Sunday night at 8pm, and every once and a while I head down to his school to play guitar on the show.
